Topic A: Tell us about a career-oriented website you enjoy visiting

Hello everyone!

                           

Today I'll talk about some web pages in which I'm more entertained looking for information related to my career.

One of them is Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/). It's a platform full of videos of any kind. I use it when I need to see documentaries, or some scientific fact or when I want more didactic information.

The second page I use is Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/). I follow a lot of accounts related to agriculture, in which they give you super curious scientific data with spectacular images.

And the last but most important is Google Schoolar (https://scholar.google.com/). It's a search engine specialized in academic documents with scientific and academic validity. This page is the best for when I have to do work or reports for the university.

It's important to say that any information found on YouTube, Instagram or in any informal medium, it's necessary to corroborate it in academic documents and what better in Google Schoolar.

How Can Your Major Make the World a Better Place

 Hi everyone!

 

When you study agriculture you fall in love with the process and behavior that each crop or fruit tree has during its development and the great importance it has in the world to supply the population with food.

But not everything is good, the bad agronomic management practices that existed and unfortunately still exist due to conventional agriculture have caused a great environmental impact. This leaves a tremendous challenge to future farmers in which we must seek solutions that are good and fast.

One of the things that really motivated me about the career is knowing the amount of challenges to face and solve, in which I want to be part of that.

This situation gives me a very clear objective, which is to research, advise and teach all over the world how to make agriculture sustainable, compatible and friendly with all the living beings that inhabit the Earth, that scream for it.

A Photo and it's story

                                                             

Hello everyone!

 It was quite difficult to choose a photo because there are so many important moments that I have lived and captured where it would be beautiful to remember.

 I must confess that I have good intentions to take good photos but actually I lack the talent for that.

 This photo was taken on the 27th August 2017. That year my cousin invited me to be part of the Notting Hill Carnival with her group in which we had to wear costumes, makeup, in addition to singing and dancing.

 Our group's big motive in the parade was to demand justice for the people who were badly affected by the fierce fire at Greenfell Tower on the 14th June 2017.

 It was a really beautiful and at the same time exhausting experience in which we paraded all day in the middle of summer.

 It was the first time that I participated in a carnival. An experience that I would love to repeat.
