I’m a person who enjoys eating any kind of food so it’s
difficult to choose a favorite food. In order to make a choice I’ll base it on
the fact that it’s delicious, humble, cheap and nutritious. The one that has
all these qualities is "porotos con mazamorra" that’s beans with
ground corn. If you like to prepare this meal the first thing to do is to boil the beans and
when they’re ready strain them. In a separate pot you should make a stir-fry of
vegetables. Then you should put the cooked beans, some pieces of pumpkin
together with the stir-fry and boil everything again for a few minutes so that
finally you can put the ground corn. This has to be stirring every so often
until everything is cooked completely. This meal is a great source of protein
and it’s also a healthy substitute for meat, what could be better?
Hello Sofi 😊 I love "porotos con mazamorra", with colored chili they are very tasty. In addition, it is a meal full of nutrients and leaves you very satisfied.
